If you are VAT-registered in Fiji, Samoa, or Vanuatu and issue invoices from a POS, an accredited Sales Data Controller is required by law on every sale. The tax authority offers a Virtual SDC (V-SDC) for very low-volume taxpayers, but most businesses use an External SDC (E-SDC) like VMS Fiji because it works offline, signs invoices locally, and removes any dependency on the tax authority's servers being reachable at the moment of sale.
If you process more than a handful of receipts a day, run multiple checkouts, or trade in areas with unreliable internet, an E-SDC is the practical choice.
For most retail, hospitality and food-service businesses the Lite package covers everything you need. Choose Pro if you want advanced reporting, analytics, and on-premise integrations with Odoo, MYOB or Sage.
